The territorial distribution of the staff is not made based on their residence address but depending on the location of the educational center where they work
Infant-Primary Education: the teachers who teach at both levels are counted only once, so the data does not coincide with the sum of Infant Education and Primary Education.
Secondary education: E.S.O., F.P., Baccalaureate (LGE/LOGSE) and PCPI teaching staff. Teachers who teach at more than one level are counted only once, so the data does not coincide with the sum of E.S.O., F.P., Baccalaureate (LGE/LOGSE) and PCPI.
Baccalaureate: teaching staff for B.U.P./C.O.U. (Upper Secondary Education/University Orientation Course) and LOGSE Baccalaureate
Vocational Training: teaching staff for F.P., M.P. and LOGSE F.P
The academic staff that teaches higher education courses in Design also teaches visual arts and design and they are therefore included under the latter.
During the 2008-2009 academic year, the teaching staff that taught in the Professional Introductory Programmes was also included in the PCPIs (Initial Professional Qualification Programmes).
Due to methodological problems, the number of teachers on a pre-university level could not be collected
